Are Josh and Siera the next Troy and Gabriella?

I just rented high school musical 3 the other day and I was totally put under the high school musical spell!! Everything is so perfect and people sing all the time, what a great life! Anyway I think Josh and I make a pretty good Troy and Gabbriella! Just look at how cute we are!

Totally in love and right after this picture was taken we sang and danced in the rain! Just like the movie people!
We even take pictures with Disney characters, you can't get more Disney High School Musical than that! Josh couldn't be in the same room as me when I was watching this movie but that's ok I still have my dreams of living in a musical! How scary is this, at the end of HSM3 troy and gabbi end up going to college in the bay area! Josh and I live in the bay area, we were so meant to be HSM!

Valentine's Day!

Josh gave me some roses that the young women in our ward were selling to raise money for their EFY trip. So I got flowers and it went to a good cause.
Josh had to work for a couple of hours that day but we did get to go out to a movie and dinner. All in all it was a good day of love. Better than last year when the power went out!

Can't sleep!

I am not sleeping and it's 1:30am! Don't ask me why, I couldn't tell ya. Anyway I might not be sleeping because the rain woke me up? No one told me before I moved here to the bay area that during the months of Jan.-early march it rains a lot! Like every 15 minutes to be exact. At least it's been doing that the last couple of days. I don't really mind, it's just weird. It will be rainy and windy while I'm getting ready for school but as soon as I walk outside to my car with my rain gear it's sunny, and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills or something, then 5 minutes later...rain! But it is beeeeautiful out there, so green! Well I hope everyone is having sweet dreams while I am working on my math homework/listening to music from wicked:)

Remember this picture, this was taken when we were fresh greenies to San Francisco. We didn't know about the crazy 5 minute storms and we obviously weren't ready when they hit while we were trying to take a cute picture.

Pink stuff

I just received this cute Valentine's Day treat (minus the flowers,they're mine), from my amazing Aunt! As you can see in the next picture these are not ordinary cookies, these are a thin sugar cookie with about a pound of pink frosting on top. Some people have told me they don't like a lot of frosting but this is different because it's homemade and delicious and I will be surprised if I there is any left for Josh when he gets home! Thanks Aunt Sheila!




I haven't blogged for a while because there really isn't anything to blog about. Josh works long hours because of busy season and I started school so I'm doing the whole college thing. Other than putting off doing my homework I don't have exciting news. So I thought since it's close to Valentine's Day and the theme color is pink (well it's red, but I like pink more) I would take inventory of my house and see how much pink stuff I have? It surprised me when I barely found any pink.
Of course I have the pink line of fun perfumes and scents from victoria's secret. And a bottle of pepto-bismol. Hey it's pink!
My hair dryer and straightener are both pink.
I have a pink sponge and pink plastic gloves by my sink, yes those are dirty dishes in my sink. Having dirty dishes seems to happen more when you; a.) don't have a dishwasher, and b.) don't have a microwave:)

This is the only other thing in our apartment that is pink, my blanket, and as you can see Josh prefers this blanket to any other when he is laying down for his Sunday nap:)Have a good Valentine's Day!!

Pop or Soda?

I have been given a lot of flack in my life about calling a carbonated beverage "pop". I have been told that it is supposed to be called "soda" or in the south they just call it "coke". Anyway, my whole family and one of my best friends would agree that these tasty beverages taste way better as "pop" then "soda". Now I'm not hating on anyone who thinks soda tastes better called soda. But it looks to me like Pepsi now has my back on this whole pop vs. soda thing! I just want to add that my whole family and myself have been addicted to pop since I can remember and admitting this now makes me feel like white trash:) My head hurts, I guess that means I'm having my caffeine withdrawal so I better go:) J/K
