My hubby made me dinner!

J thought that he wanted to improve his cooking skills last night, I must admit I was a little hesitant to let him try. He made a chicken parm. but with alfredo sauce! Exciting I know!

I quite enjoyed it! He did great, I think I could get use to someone else cooking for me!
He was pretty proud of himself, it was a fun adventure! P.s we both look a little tired in these pics because we had recently woken up from our Sunday naps

Another College Football weekend!

We were so excited to see the Cal vs. OSU game!
We had good seats so we were able to see all the action.
Love it
We went to Berkley's famous Fenton Creamery and had this huge ice cream sunday, it was heavenly and there was a brownie on the bottom of all that ice cream!
And we got to spend time with a cute baby! And her parents

Birthday Boy!

The big 2-7. He got an iphone and that's about it, those things are spendy! Fun fact, four years ago today we held hands for the first time. I was poor back then so it was the only gift I could give him, good thing he liked it:)

They're Coming!!

J's rents are coming and we are really excited. I like this picture because J's mom was my old high school debate teacher and this pic was taken in her class room, so all you K-high grads I bet you thought it looked familiar. Everyone took debate from Mrs.P right?

J's dad. This pic says it all. He is total business, and check out that hat! Literally I can't wait!

Obsession with maps!

I heart maps like you would not believe so I thought I would share some of my loves from Martha Stewart. I have used this wrapping gifts with maps technique in the past and I loved doing it. I still regret not registering for a giant map wall paper for our wedding, wouldn't that have been so cool?

I'm pretty sure if I could decorate my future mansion like a library with maps like this everywhere I would. Lately I've had love affair with modge podge, old maps from National Geographic magazines, and canvases. It hasn't turned out as well as I wanted but I'm still trying. Someday though I will have dozens of old antique maps framed! Enjoy and don't worry i will post about other obsessions i have later, i know you're dying to know more of them.
