thankful

It's been close to 5 years now that J and I have been married. Deciding to get married with the faith and hope that it will last for eternity was the best decision I have and will ever make!
I ran across THIS story on a wedding blog and had a good cry. I can't imagine the last few years or the rest of my life without my guy. I hope that I can be thankful for every second we have together! Kiss your husbands tonight and tell them you love them! Happy 5 years love, the last 7 months have been especially great:)

So Sad!

Memories of riding on Dad's back are fond ones for J and I. So, we thought we'd get started early with Sum. Once again we were dead wrong. We have scared her for life I'm afraid. She thought it was kind of fun at first but at the end she was upset. Poor girl.

"Swing, swing from the tangles of my heart..."

You know the song, takes me back but this post has nothing to do with "a former love". Just the swinging part. Anyway,

Summer was again very bored and tolerant to her parents incredibly bad attempts at a fun time. We apologize Summer, for thinking that a swing might make you shriek with laughter and explosions of smiles. She was bored with.the.whole.thing.
Her first time on the swing was a dud. Blah.

"Does it look like I'm having fun? Get that sorry excuse for a camera out of my face."-Sum

She thought the swing was disgusting and I totally agree. She literally did not touch the swing and then got mad when her shoe fell off. We could do nothing right.

So, we switched activities and Dad took Sum to shoot some hoops. By the looks of those arms she was having none of that.
Turns out this whole attitude was just a cry for a nap because when we set her in the stroller admitting defeat to what we thought was a fun afternoon the babe feel straight to sleep. Maybe we'll do swings another day after the nap, not before.

Swimsuit model

This baby started a baby swim time class at our local pool. I am so glad I signed her up so early! She is cute in that suit! Right! I was nervous because she is so young still but it's just a lot of toys and floating around with Dad, which she loves!
Stealing kisses. They love each other and I love that he loves swimming with her because you no I ain't getting in a swim suit yet sister!
Sum did exceptionally well except when it came to dropping toys or looking a mama's camera.
The kick board was the cutest. She really looks like she is working her hardest to master her kicking skills. Six months old and she has basically scored a spot on the local swim team!

Next up: Crawling. She started scooting around pretty well last week. Stay tuned for pictures!
